Candice has loved costume design from a young age. While attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, she gave trolley tours of the downtown Los Angeles Fashion District for BID (The Fashion District Business Improvement District) and worked behind the scenes as a dresser for numerous fashion shows throughout Southern California. The love of costuming continued to grow while she worked in the Costume Department at Disneyland and as an Assistant Wardrobe Shop Manager for the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies.

Candice has been married for 13 years and together they have three children.  She loves sewing, pattern-making, reading about the History of Costume and is an avid collector of vintage sewing machines. Currently, she is working on historical costuming pieces to wear to next year’s Costume College Conference. Candice is a member of Girls Scouts (as well as Troop Leader) , CGW (Costume Guild West, Inc.), ISMACS (International Sewing Machine Collectors’ Society) and The Costume Society – UK.
